µTorrent (or uTorrent) has been one of the popular BitTorrent P2P client due to its nature lightweight in resource usage, and fast, effective fast performance in downloading torrent. Unfortunately, the freeware uTorrent is available for Windows operating system platform, leaving other operating system users especially Mac OS X users, such as those own Apple MacBook in the cold.
Finally, the uTorrent has ported to Mac OS X platform, and as usual, it’s available for free download. µTorrent for Mac is currently released as a βeta version, as can be used as an viable alternative to Transmission, another open source free BitTorrent client that is very popular and widely used in Mac OS X system.
